●  Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

●  Normal softening of latex over time (latex naturally adjusts to your body; this is not a defect).

●  Comfort preference or change of mind regarding firmness — please refer to our no-trial policy.

●  Body impressions less than 38 mm (1.5 inches).

●  Damage caused by an inadequate foundation, broken slats, slat gaps wider than 75 mm (3 inches), or use without a proper bed base.

●  Stains, soiling, burns, tears, cuts, fluid damage, or odour from spills.

●  Damage from bending, folding, jumping, standing on the mattress, or any improper handling.

●  Damage from pests, pets, mould, or mildew resulting from environmental conditions.

●  Mattresses sold "as-is", from clearance, or as floor samples.

●  Mattresses where the law tag, certification labels, or batch identifiers have been removed or are unreadable.

●  Mattresses used in commercial settings (hotels, hostels, hospitals, rentals) unless purchased under a specific commercial agreement.

Years 1–10: Non-Prorated (Full Coverage)
Morning Owl will, at its discretion, repair the defective mattress, replace the defective component, or replace the entire mattress with one of equivalent value. No charge for the product itself; transport charges (if any) are borne by the customer.

Years 11–15: Prorated (Limited Coverage)
The customer pays a percentage of the original purchase price toward repair or replacement, calculated as follows:

●  Damage caused by placing the topper on an unsuitable, soft, or sagging mattress.

●  Stains, tears, burns, or fluid damage.

●  Compression marks from vacuum roll packaging that resolve within 72 hours of unpacking.

●  Toppers used without a fitted cover or mattress protector that have absorbed sweat, body oils, or stains.

Years 1–5: Non-Prorated (Full Coverage)
Years 6–10: Prorated (Limited Coverage) — customer pays 50% to 90% on the same prorated schedule as Hybrid mattresses.

●  Cracking, splitting, or disintegration of the latex core under normal use.

●  Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

●  Defects in the inner or outer cover stitching under normal use.

●  Normal loss of loft or softening of latex over time.

●  Yellowing of the latex from light or air exposure.

●  Stains, sweat absorption, soiling, or odour from use without a pillow cover.

●  Damage from washing the latex core in water (latex pillows must never be machine-washed).

●  Tears, cuts, or pet damage.

●  Comfort or firmness preference.

Coverage is full and non-prorated for the entire 3-year period.

●  Manufacturing defects in the latex fill or pillow casing.

●  Defects in stitching, zipper, or seam under normal use.

●  Natural compression and re-shaping of shredded latex fill — fluffing is recommended weekly.

●  Reduction in loft due to normal use over time.

●  Stains, sweat absorption, or odour from use without a pillow cover.

●  Damage from washing the latex fill in water.

●  Tears, cuts, or pet damage.

●  Comfort or firmness preference.
