Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

At Morning Owl, every mattress is made with certified natural latex and inspected before it leaves our factory. Other products such as bedding, cots, pillows, and toppers are similarly made with high quality certified material. We believe in being clear upfront. Please read this policy before placing your order, especially because mattresses and bedding products are personal-use items and have hygiene-related return restrictions.

A natural latex mattress is not a mass-produced foam block. Every Morning Owl mattress is made using latex harvested over months from rubber farms in Kerala, processed in small batches, and built to last for decades.

Once a mattress has been used, it cannot be resold responsibly. We do not resell used mattresses like other brands who offer free trial, and we do not believe a new customer should receive a mattress that has been in someone else’s home.

Sleep-trial models also add return-related costs into product pricing. That means every buyer pays extra for the few who return. Instead, we invest in helping you choose correctly before purchase through:

  • Showroom experience at our six stores
  • Phone and WhatsApp support
  • Video consultations
  • Detailed product pages and mattress construction guidance
  • Firmness recommendations from our team

Our goal is simple: help you choose the right mattress the first time.

Every Morning Owl mattress is also backed by a long-term warranty, because we stand behind the quality of what we make.

This policy applies to purchases made through:

  • The Morning Owl website: mymorningowl.com
  • Morning Owl showrooms in HSR Layout Bangalore, Kalyan Nagar Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Pune
  • Authorized partners and marketplaces, subject to the return windows and rules of those platforms where applicable

You may cancel non customized order any time before it is dispatched from our manufacturing unit.

If your order is cancelled before dispatch:

  • A full refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
  • Refund initiation will happen within 7 working days.
  • To cancel, email sleep@mymorningowl.com or call 7411728031 with your order number.
  • Online orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Custom-sized product, meaning non-standard dimensions made to order, cannot be cancelled once production has started.

Although we follow strong packaging standards, transit damage can occasionally happen.

If the package appears physically damaged from the outside, please refuse delivery and document the damage.

If you discover damage while opening the package, please follow these steps:

  1. Record an unboxing video showing the seal intact and the damage as the product is opened.
  2. Take clear photos of the damage and the outer packaging.
  3. Email sleep@mymorningowl.com within 48 hours of delivery with:
  • Your order number
  • The unboxing video
  • Clear photos of the damage and packaging

Our team will assess the claim within 2 working days. If approved, we will arrange a free replacement.

Morning Owl will bear all reverse logistics costs for approved transit-damage claims.

If you notice a visible manufacturing defect within 5 days of delivery, please mail sleep@mymorningowl.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the defect
  • A short description of the issue

Our quality team will inspect the product, either in person or via video. If the defect is confirmed, we will arrange a free replacement.

Defects discovered after 5 days are covered under the applicable warranty:

  • 15-year warranty for Morning Owl latex mattresses
  • 10-year warranty for Hybrid mattresses
  • 10-year warranty for Latex Toppers
  • 3-year warranty for regular latex and contour latex pillow
  • 1-year warranty for shredded latex pillow
  • 1-year warranty for bedsheet and protector
  • 3-year warranty for teak wood cots

If you receive a product that does not match your order, such as the wrong size, model, or firmness, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Email sleep@mymorningowl.com with your order number and product details.

Once verified, we will arrange pickup of the incorrect product and dispatch the correct product at no additional cost to you.

For hygiene and consumer safety reasons, opened or used mattresses cannot be returned for:

  • Change of mind
  • Comfort preference
  • Firmness mismatch
  • Personal sleep preference after use

This protects every Morning Owl customer and ensures that every mattress and product delivered is fresh, unused, and made for its first owner.

Before placing your order, we strongly recommend visiting a showroom, booking a video consultation, reading the product details carefully, or speaking with our team. We genuinely want you to choose the right mattress before you buy.

  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method.
  • We do not issue store credits or vouchers instead of refunds unless you specifically request one.
  • GST charged on the original invoice will be fully refunded as part of the approved refund amount.

What Is Not Covered

The following are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Discomfort due to personal firmness preference after the mattress has been used
  • Damage caused by improper use
  • Liquid spills
  • Pet damage
  • Damage caused by using the mattress without a mattress protector
  • Cosmetic differences in natural cotton covers, as natural fibres may have slight colour and texture variations
  • Indentations of less than 1 inch, which are within manufacturing tolerance and not considered sagging
  • Products purchased through unauthorised resellers

It is designed to protect hygiene, avoid unnecessary waste, and keep genuinely premium natural latex mattresses fairly priced for every customer.
